Try Something Better

Non-alcoholic sparkling wine · Made in the USA

You've tried
non-alcoholic wine.
It didn't excite you.

There's a reason for that, and it isn't your palate. Almost every bottle on the shelf is made in a way that costs it the one thing you were looking for. We don't make ours that way — and the difference is the kind you notice in the first glass, not on the label.

CLINQ ZERO Sparkling Blanc non-alcoholic sparkling wine being poured into a wine glass

The reason

The heat takes the aroma with it.

Nearly everything you can buy is made the same way. A finished wine is heated so the alcohol evaporates off. It works — the alcohol goes. But almost everything you smell in a glass of wine is volatile too, and it leaves at the same time.

What's left is thin and flat. So the gap gets filled: flavoring to put an aroma back, and often grape concentrate or sugar to give the body something to stand on. That's why so much non-alcoholic wine reads as sweet, or as juice, or as something almost-but-not-quite.

The short version

“Nothing has to be added back if nothing was destroyed in the first place.”

This isn't a secret in the industry. It's just the cheapest way to do it, and for a long time it was the only way most producers had access to.

What we do instead

Real wine first. Then the alcohol comes out — without heat.

  • StartA fine California Pinot Grigio. A real wine, made properly — the kind you would pour on its own before anyone touched it.
  • RemoveThe alcohol is taken out without heat, so the aromatics stay where they are. Nothing is boiled off, so nothing has to be replaced.
  • CarbonateThen it's carbonated. That is the entire process. No flavoring added. No sugar added to prop up a flat base.

Green apple and pear, a lift of citrus, and the clean dry finish that grape is known for. Lower in calories and lower in sugar than traditional sparkling wine — not because anything was engineered out, but because nothing was put in.

It costs more to make. That is the entire product.

How I know this

I'm Anto. I spent five years running the dealcoholization technology business in North America — selling and installing the equipment that takes alcohol out of wine, for producers all over the continent.

So I have watched, at close range, exactly what heat does to a wine. I know which producers accept it because the machine was cheaper, and I know what the glass tastes like on the other side. That is the whole reason CLINQ ZERO exists, and the whole reason we don't do it that way.

Before you switch

What people ask first.

I've tried non-alcoholic wine and hated it. Why would this be different?

Because the objection you have is almost certainly to what heat did to it, not to the idea of non-alcoholic wine. If the aromatics were never cooked off, there's nothing to cover up and nothing to fake. That's the entire difference, and it's the one worth tasting for yourself.

Is it actually wine?

Yes. It's made as wine first — a real California Pinot Grigio — and then the alcohol is removed and it's carbonated. The statement of identity on the bottle is Dealcoholized Sparkling Wine.

Is it sweet?

No. Crisp and dry. Lower in calories and lower in sugar than traditional sparkling wine, because no sugar is added to compensate for a flat base.

Is it completely alcohol-free?

It's dealcoholized — under 0.5% ABV, the same threshold used across the category, which is comparable to a ripe banana or a glass of kombucha.

What does pre-order actually mean?

The first run is bottled this September. You order now at 30% off, and it ships by September 30. Nothing ships from a warehouse, because there isn't one yet — this is the first CLINQ ZERO ever made.

How long does the 30% last?

Until the first run ships. After that the wine goes to full price nationally, and the next batch won't carry first-run pricing.

What does shipping cost?

Free anywhere in the US on orders over $100. The 30% comes off before that's counted, so with the discount applied the six-bottle case ships free at $117.60; the two-bottle pair and the four-bottle box are $7.99.
